Seinfeld Season 9 isn't an ideal goodbye

5 second plot: George starts working for a company where nobody cares about anything. It's a perfect fit. The gang goes to a wedding in India. Reversed. Kramer's coffee table book is optioned for a movie. He retires. Elaine eats a 60 year old cake, worth $29000. Jerry starts sleeping with his maid. But then she stops cleaning. So what's he paying her for?

5 second review: There are a couple of legendary (crazy bonkers) episodes in this final season that you just have to see. But you can skip the final two episodes. Their added value is 0. It must have been a lot of fun for the creators, but not for the fans.

IMDb score: 8,9/10

Seinfeld Season 8 is past its peak

5 second plot: George finds out he would have been rich if he had gotten married. Elaine doesn't know she dances really funny. Jerry shaves his chest-hair and almost turns into a werewolf when it starts growing back. Kramer gets hooked on chicken from a new fast food restaurant across the street. And there is another incident with invitations...

5 second review: They try really hard (too hard) to be funny. It's not about everyday situations anymore. It's too crazy, too silly. It's like they're stuck in a bizarro world.

IMDb score: 8,9/10
Our score: 6/10

Seinfeld Season 7 is on cruise control

5 second plot: Spoilers ahead! George is getting married. He (almost immediately) wants out but he's afraid to confront his fiancee. At the end of the season she dies because of the poisonous  glue on the envelopes of the cheap ass wedding invitations George insisted on. George also blows a date with Marisa Tomei, who is crazy about his looks (really).

5 second review: The show is on cruise control, everything is running smoothly. We get a couple of great new characters (like Kramer's lawyer), some existing ones take center stage a couple of times (Newman) and then there's of course: Marisa Tomei with a great cameo.

IMDb score: 8,9/10
Our score: 9/10

Seinfeld Season 6 flirts with perfection

5 second plot: This 6th season someone pees on Jerry's new couch. George finds the woman of his dreams. She thinks his BS is interesting. He tells her he loves her and doesn't get the 'I love you' back. Twice. We find out that Kramer's first name is Cosmo. We also find out that Jerry watches Melrose Place. And that he can't handle orgies. Elaine's boss puts her in his will but then some weird stuff happens that make it look like she's trying to kill him.

5 second review: Some of the episodes are truly classic. I especially like everything that has to do with George and his job. It's brilliant. He's always making plans. And everything always backfires. Everyone is getting mixed up in these unfortunate painful events.

IMDb score: 8,9/10
Our score: 9/10

Seinfeld Season 5 is brilliant

5 second plot: The guys find out that women sometimes fake their orgasm. George pretends to be a marine biologist and saves a whale. Kramer spots a mannequin doll that looks just like Elaine. Jerry makes out with his girlfriend during Schindler's List.

5 second review: This fifth season is pure comedy magic. The situations they get themselves into, the shit they pull,... it's brilliant.

IMDb score: 8,9/10
Our score: 9,5/10

Seinfeld Season 4 is the works

5 second plot: What do we learn this season? Kramer isn't a serial killer. George and Jerry come up with an idea for a sitcom about nothing. George burns down a cabin. Calvin Klein steals Kramer's idea for a perfume that smells like the beach. Elaine sends out Christmas cards with her picture on it accidentally showing a nipple. Jerry dates a girl with spectacular breasts. Jerry's car stinks and it's destroying the lives of everyone in its path.

5 second review: The shit they pull... They get into these everyday situations and it always gets incredibly out of hand. It's hilarious.

IMDb score: 8,9/10
Our score: 9/10

Ep 22: George gets into a fight with a guy over a parking space.

5 second review: This is the season that Seinfeld really kicks off. It's the first season the show looks like a 'real' show. I love the way they get hysterical all the time. They flip out like anyone would flip out (or would want to be able to get away with flipping out like). Every character is just perfect.

IMDb score: 8,9/10

Seinfeld Season 2 is... well... really funny

5 second plot: Jerry gets an old lady killed by making a smart ass remark about her pony. George leaves a crazy message on a woman's answering machine and tries to get it erased. He also snaps over a toilet memo at his office and quits his job, only to realize that it might have been a mistake. The gang tries to get a table at a Chinese restaurant.

5 second review: These guys (and girl) get into awkward but every day situations that are simply funny because they point out the obvious. They are like a walking and talking stand up comedy show. They get into these situations because they seem to be the only normal people around.

IMDb score: 8,9/10
Our score: 8/10

Seinfeld Season 1 is a good start

5 second plot: In this very short first season Jerry meets a beautiful woman and then stakes out her work, tries to find a new apartment, tries to break up with a guy-friend and tries his luck on the stock exchange.

5 second review: I love the entire formula of Seinfeld. The stand-up bits, all the characters, the every day stories,... it's a perfect formula for lots of fun. And it's timeless. It's classic stuff. Already from the get-go.

IMDb score: 8,9/10
