True Blood Season 7 Episode 10: Thank You (final episode)

5 second plot: Hoyt and Jessica get married. Bill asks Sookie to kill him with her last remaining light ball (which would also mean she loses all her fairy powers). He wants her to live a normal life. Eric and Pam lose their patience with the Yakuza and take over the New Blood operation. And somehow, life seems to fall in its place.

5 second review: First up: Eric has got one of the funniest scenes of the entire series. He is awesomely cool. This final episode might not be a good enough ending for some fans (just look at the IMDb score), but for me, and I was there from the start, all is well. I like what they did with it. It's sad, sure, but it's also very beautiful. A thumbs up from me.

True Blood Season 7 Episode 9: Love Is to Die

5 second plot: Bill refuses to be cured and says he's ready for his true death. Sookie is not too happy with that. Hoyt and Jessica hook up again. She tells him about their previous relationship and the forget-glare. That leaves Bridget running to Jason. But he makes one thing clear: there will be no fucking. Pam and Eric get into some trouble with their business associates.

5 second review: It's a weird episode. There is some serious and sad boohoo stuff mixed with some crazy funny stuff. Bill is dying on the one hand and Jason is trying not to fuck a girl on the other hand. And oh, Eric finally fucks Ginger. Also crazy funny.

IMDb score: 7,3/10

True Blood Season 7 Episode 7: May Be the Last Time

5 second plot: Eric, Pam and the Yakuza concoct a plan for a worldwide distribution of an antidote for hep-v. Mainly to make a ton of money in the process. Bill is not doing well. Sookie starts looking for a miracle. Hoyt and his girlfriend are in town. Andy and Holly are looking for their children. The kids don't know Jason's ex-vamp lured them in a trap.

5 second review: There's some really funny stuff in this episode. But also drama, action, love, mystery, thrills,... the whole shebang. There's a little bit for everyone. And there is hope too. Hope that not everyone will die before the show's finale.

IMDb score: 7,6/10

True Blood Season 7 Episode 6: Karma

5 second plot: Bill tries to get his estate transferred to Jessica. His hep-v seems to be progressing very rapidly. Pam and Eric form an alliance with the Yakuza. Basically to rip Sarah Newlin's head off. But they might need to reconsider. Jason's vampire girlfriend tries to win him back. Tara is really trying to talk to her mother. Andy catches his daughter in bed with his future step-son.

5 second review: That's a nice twist what they did with Sarah Newlin there. I'm not going to give it away. Lots of interesting questions: why is Bill getting sick so fast, what is Jason's girlfriend going to do to the fairy, what's this Tara dream all about, why are the Yakuza driving Fast & Furious cars?

True Blood Season 7 Episode 5: Return to Oz

5 second plot: The evil vamps are dead, so what's next? It seems that throwing a party for the entire town was on the top of the list. At this party there are mostly drunk people and some love triangle problems. Bill is flashing back a lot for who knows what reason. And Pam and Eric are on Sarah Newlin's trail. And so is the Yakuza. Apparently.

5 second review: This episode is a boring time filler. A party? Come on. It's not really the right time. Eric and Pam are a lot of fun. But the Yakuza? What? Why? I don't get it. The last seconds of the episode reveal another victim of hep-v. So I'm thinking that's the way this season is going to go: searching for an antidote.

True Blood Season 7 Episode 4: Death Is Not the End

5 second plot: This episode is all about informing the next of kin of the people that didn't make it through the previous episode and powering up for the definitive battle with the infected vamps. And saving some friends. And loving each other. And coming clean. And some forgiving here and there.

5 second review: The good guys and girls win for a change. And none of them die in the process. Wait, let me think back a bit. Because there is a lot of slaying going on in this episode. No, I think no-one I like, dies. Yippiekayee. And lots of love. I like that.

True Blood Season 7 Episode 3: Fire in the Hole

5 second plot: The evil townspeople have got lots of guns. And they are going to kill everyone that's different. Sookie and Bill have a plan to track down their missing friends. But it's not without danger. Pam and Eric relive some good old (not really) times. Eric's all good to go bye bye, but then Pam tells him that Sarah Newlin is still alive.

5 second review: Why does it seem to be necessary to kill a central character in every episode? There won't be many left much longer at this rate. It's not my favorite surprise (is it anyone's?). Try to be a little bit more creative instead of killing all of our favorite characters (not meaning Hoyt's mom) just to mess with our head.

True Blood Season 7 Episode 2: I Found You

5 second plot: There will be no help from outside so the town folks will have to fend for themselves. The town officials are trying to find the infected vamps before nightfall. The town people are rebelling against the officials. The infected vamps aren't all evil bloodsuckers. But they sure did kill a lot of people already. Pam finds Eric. He's not okay.

5 second review: I like the end-of-the-world atmosphere of this episode. Jason's pizza forensics is really funny. I really hate Tara's mom. Always have. She's such an annoying character. Alcide and Sookie might be a little bit too relaxed given the circumstances.

True Blood Season 7 Episode 1: Jesus Gonna Be Here

5 second plot: Infected vampires crash the party in Bon Temps. A lot of vamps and people are killed (or kidnapped as a snack for later on) including Tara. Sookie hears everyone blame her for the attack and flips out. Pam is searching for her maker. Uninfected vamps are trying to protect the humans in exchange for blood.

5 second review: There is a lot of dramatic boohoo stuff in this episode. But also a couple of steaming hot sexy scenes. It all doesn't seem to be as much fun anymore as it was in the beginning though. I think it's a good thing that this is the final season. Let's hope they can still catch us off guard from time to time.

True Blood Season 6 Episode 10: Radioactive

5 second plot: In the first half of the episode the Warlow thing gets settled (quickly). Then the story skips 6 months. Sookie is now with Alcide. Hepatitis V is raging among the vampires. They turn into (sort of) vampire-zombies. The healthy vamps are offering the humans protection. In exchange for blood.

5 second review: Now that was weird wasn't it? The finale half way through the finale. Then skip to a very strange 6 months in the future. And then the set up of the next season? The first half of the episode was very good, the second half was not.

True Blood Season 6 Episode 9: Life Matters

5 second plot: Eric and Bill are out to save their fellow vamps from the prison. Eric chops a whole lot of humans into pieces on his way in. The rest of the town is attending Terry's funeral and recalling key moments of his life.

5 second review: The funeral bits are extremely boring. There is even someone singing at one point. That's not my cup of tea. The rest of the episode is a whole lot of fun actually. Quite the contrast.

True Blood Season 6 Episode 8: Dead Meat

5 second plot: Sookie is considering Warlow's offer to spend eternity with him. Eric is not taking the death of his sister lightly and is causing mayhem. Bill is still on course trying to prevent his vision from coming true. In the vamp prison everyone but a selected few is drinking the poisoned true blood.

5 second review: This felt like an episode from the Bold and the Beautiful with vampires. Not much going on, everyone just going about his or her business. And occasionally there's some drama. And it's not bad, it's so well made and the characters are so cool that it's a perfect fit.

True Blood Season 6 Episode 7: In the Evening

5 second plot: The governor is dead, his crazy love interest takes over (Jason's old acquaintance). Eric escapes the vamp prison and tries to save his sister. Bill tries to save everyone else from his vision of the future. And Sookie gets to flash her boobs. The fans are reportedly all very happy.

5 second review: All the characters are cool one way or another: the old ones, the new ones, the renewed old ones. It's pretty great. Only Jessica slips up a bit with some blabla and boohoo. It's a great episode: it's fun, it's cool and it's sexy.

True Blood Season 6 Episode 6: Don't You Feel Me

5 second plot: Jason is out saving Jessica. Bill is seriously pissed and is off kicking some human ass. The Governor gets it big time. But not before unleashing a vampire killing virus. Sookie is off to fairy land with Warlock. He's actually a pretty nice guy. So it seems.

5 second review: This is a cool episode. There is cool vampire stuff, get's very steamy and how long has it been since someone's head was torn off. Too long. Jason rocks. Lafayette gets to speak again. Finally. And I don't know what Bill is planning, but it's going to be big.

True Blood Season 6 Episode 5: Fuck the Pain Away

5 second plot: Practically all our vamps get locked up in the special testing facility. No idea how that will turn out. Just as Warlow was getting warmed up, Bill pulls out his plug: it seems the two have somewhat of a special relationship. And we find out a lot about the origins of the vampires.

5 second review: Damned. After the previous episode I really thought we were on a roll again, but then this episode comes a long. The story simply comes to a stop to portray a lot of weird and crazy stuff that just doesn't make sense.

IMDb score: 8,6/10

True Blood Season 6 Episode 4: At Last

5 second plot: Eric thinks he can stop the vampire hunting madness by turning the governor's daughter into a vampire. Bill wants to make fairy true blood so he kidnaps Andy's daughters. But that does not go smoothly. And 'at last' Warlow shows his face. He didn't really expect Sookie to be ready to rumble. You gotta love her.

5 second review: Sexy, funny, smart and some good old fashioned bad ass whoopin'. That is what True Blood should be like every episode. Let's hope the good guys and girls can stay ahead for a while.

IMDb score: 8,5/10

True Blood Season 6 Episode 3: You're No Good

5 second plot: Eric kidnapped the governor's daughter. She doesn't seem to mind very much. Bill saw the future and it did not look pretty. So he's trying to change it. The wolves took the kid. Sam tries to get her back. And the fairies are on the lookout/hunt for Warlow.

5 second review: It's still burning slow (except for Bill) but that's fine. I would like to hear more from Lafayette though. I miss that dirty talk. Everyone seems to be hatching a plan. I hope the unfolding doesn't take too long anymore. A little action would be nice.

IMDb: 8,2/10

True Blood Season 6 Episode 2: The Sun

5 second plot: Jason and Sookie meet their grandfather Rutger Hauer (yes, way) who is there to help them kill Warlow. The humans mean business and are off torturing and killing vamps. The vamps do not take this lightly. Eric leads the way and superBill is probably going to top him.

5 second review: Lots of new characters. Not sure what they're all there for, but that will become clear. Not a lot of action, it's mostly talking, licking wounds and preparing for battle. The last minute of the episode is the most exciting one. That seems to become a trend.

IMDb score: 8/10
Our score: 8,5/10

True Blood Season 6 Episode 1: Who Are You, Really?

5 second review: This sixth season starts with the same big bang as the previous season ended: Bill seems to be a fucking supergodvampire. All the other characters are running around like headless chickens trying to figure it out.

5 second plot: It starts with a bang, but then drops on its ass to set up the next season (slowly). But it's all good. And funny. And it rocks 100%. It's gonna be a good one, this season.

IMDb score: 8,6/10
