Falling Skies Season 3 Episode 10: Brazil
5 second plot: The humans found a way to use the Volm weapon. They blow up a big structure which takes the grid off line. Then the Volm battleship lands and the humans find out that the series can go on for a couple more seasons.
5 second review: Every time there is a chance to show a big battle that takes an entire episode to be fought, the makers of Falling Skies settle it quickly to move on to the more touchy feely side of the story. And now, with this season finale, I finally realize that this bothers me. A lot. So I think I'm done with Falling Skies. But I would like to know what happens to the kid.

Falling Skies Season 3 episode 9: Journey to Xilbalba
5 second plot: The Volm bunker (where the weapon to save mankind is held) explodes. The human bunker (where they live) collapses. And the rest of the episode they try to get out. And they catch the mole.
5 second review: Ridiculous, filled with crazy coincidences and boring as shit. I've just about had it with this crap.

Falling Skies Season 3 Episode 8: Strange Brew
5 second plot: This episode is like the Ghosts of Christmas Past. We are inside Tom's head while the evil aliens are trying to manipulate his brain to give up the location where the rebels will strike. Anyhow. The bad boys and girls get their grid up. So time's running out, I guess.
5 second review: I don't like this kind of shits and giggles. This is probably great fun for the crew but extremely boring for the viewer.

Falling Skies Season 3 Episode 7: The Pickett Line
5 second plot: The Masons are searching for Anne and the baby. They run into another family that is out to get their supplies. Back in Charleston the government is moving Pope's trailer so now the little winer is pissed off and organizes some sort of work strike. And we learn a little bit more about the big gun the Volm are building.
5 second review: Again a couple of surprises. And if we can believe the preview, the biggest one is yet to come. It's good that the family is on the move again, but was it really necessary to have them get robbed, then get their stuff back, then get overpowered again and then turn the tables again? And this shit with Pope is starting to get on my nerves. Get this stupid character off the show. Pretty please.

Falling Skies Season 3 Episode 6: Be Silent and Come Out
5 second plot: This episode is all about Hal and the bug that is controlling him. Oh yeah, and they get a new president.
5 second review: It's more a separate story within the story. A mostly human and emotional story. Not badly choreographed but it feels like a time and space filler while most viewers would like to get things speeded up. There is more than enough left to tell so let's do it.

Falling Skies Season 3 Episode 5: Search and Recovery
5 second plot: Tom and what's his name apparently survived the devastating plane crash and are now trying to get home. Back home, the others are looking for Anne and the baby. And the vice president finds out that the buddy aliens are probably up to something no good.
5 second review: Easy, cheap, boring and way too much drama. It was actually all drama. The piano seemed to be playing ALL the time. And all of a sudden this show is getting on my nerves. That's not good.

Falling Skies Season 3 Episode 4: At All Costs
5 second plot: The president is off meeting the real president. His visit does not go as planned and probably made things a lot worse than they already were. The bug inside Hal is taking control. Anne has some tests done by the nutty professor and it appears her baby is indeed not all human.
5 second review: I am getting as paranoid as the characters themselves. Who can we trust? Who is real? I don't trust them Volm at all. And not even the new real president. But who's to say what will happen next. Tom must be pissed off that he has to walk all that way home again.

Falling Skies Season 3 Episode 3: Badlands
5 second plot: Just waiting for the attack. The entire episode. Oh yeah, and there seems to be another president. And he thinks that our humans are teaming up with the bad aliens. And Hal thinks he's the mole, because evil Karen planted something in his head.
5 second review: This is a very slow episode. But that's okay, let's take a deep breath. The idea of an other new USA is pretty nice.

Falling Skies Season 3 Episode 2: Collateral Damage
5 second plot: The Espheni (the bad guys) are going to attack on a large scale. The humans respond by destroying their power source. Without power, they can't charge their war robots. The result strangely enough is that they will still attack. Even on a bigger scale. Duh.
5 second review: All the aliens have got flashy names now. That's peculiar. But cool. The development with the baby is very interesting. I like that stuff.
IMDb score: 8,1/10

Falling Skies Season 3 Episode 1: On Thin Ice
5 second plot: We jump 7 months ahead. Tom is now president of the new US. The human race has teamed up with another alien race. These 'good' aliens brought some kick ass weapons. But the bad ones also geared up.
5 second review: It's like we skipped a season. Too much stuff is going on at once. It feels like running down a hill. But if your feet can't keep up, you're going to go flat on your face. Let's see what the next episode brings.

Falling Skies Season 2
5 second plot: The Second Massachusetts is heading for Charleston where they have heard a new United States has risen from the ashes. Half way there they form an unusual alliance to have a bigger chance defeating the alien invaders.
5 second review: A lot of drama, but also a lot of good fighting, great alien monsters, good story, very intense at times,... and an amazing cliffhanger at the end. Nice one.
IMDb score: 8,1/10

Falling Skies Season 1
5 second plot: Earth has been overrun by ugly skitter aliens. Most of humanity has been wiped out, but there are a couple of resistance groups. At first they are mostly on the run, but after a while they try to fight back.
5 second review: I didn't like this series at first, because the CGI is very poor in the first episodes and the story is pretty depressing. But after a while it gets better and by the final episode it focuses on the lurking danger and the fighting back. So now the second season can not come quickly enough.
