Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 7: The Dragon and the Wolf (season finale)
5 second plot: Daenerys and friends show the zombie to Cersei and friends. Sansa and Arya's conflict reaches a boiling point. We find out who Jon really is (it's even more complicated than we first thought). The dead arrive at the wall.
5 second review: It's great to see old friends and foes meet. It's a good thing Bron is there to take the edge off (a little bit). I love the way Ned Stark's legacy is still very much alive. He is still the coolest man in GoT. This episode is unreal. I don't think I've ever in my life seen an episode of a TV show this good. And now we wait...

Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 6: Beyond the Wall
5 second plot: Jon and his band of brothers find the army of the dead. They are able to catch one of them, but at a great cost. Aria confronts Sansa with something she did a long time ago. She doesn't seem to realize that Littlefinger is playing her.
5 second review: There's a lot of talking and butt-kissing first to get to the spectacular stuff. But it's worth the wait. I don't like where they are going with Aria in the story. I hope she's not as stupid as they are trying to make us believe.

Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 5: Eastwatch
5 second plot: Spoilers ahead! Jaime realizes that it's going to be impossible to win the war. Cersei won't hear of it. Jon wants to show Cersei a zombie to convince her to leave Daenerys alone for a bit so she can help him fight the dead. Tyrion secretly meets with Jaime to talk about it. Jon teams up with a magnificent band of heroes and misfits to go snatch the zombie.
5 second review: There's no big battle in this episode. I was kind of getting used to it. Jon's team has got The Hound in it, the bastard son of king Baratheon, Jorah and the leader of the wildlings. Now that's a team-up! I was thinking about the meeting between Jaime and Tyrion. How did they arrange that? They don't have phones so how in the world did he ring that in?

Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 4: The Spoils of War
5 second plot: Spoilers ahead! Cersei regains the trust of the Iron Bank. Aria comes home. Daenerys and Jon are starting to get along but she still wants him to bend the knee. When Daenerys finds out that she is losing the war, she decides to take matters into her own hands. In other words: Jamie and Bronn are screwed.
5 second review: Well girl, if you want something done right, you've got to do it yourself, I guess. The way the tension builds up to this episode's battle is awesome. It felt like the Jurassic Parc T-Rex build-up. The production value (battles, dragons, fire, explosions,...) is amazing for a TV show. They were not kidding when they said this season would be BIG.

Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 3: The Queen's Justice
5 second plot: Spoilers ahoy! Jon shits his pants when he meets Daenerys' dragons. The mother of dragons is not buying his story about the living dead. Bran makes it back to Winterfell. Cersei avenges her daughter's death. And seems to be outwitting her brother in the strategies of war.
5 second review: This is a very interesting episode. It feels like watching a Rocky movie: first the good guys get punched in the face (a lot) and just when you think they are going to stay down, they're going to start throwing killer punches. Or at least: that's what I think will happen. For now, they are just getting punched in the face. A lot.

Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 2: Stormborn
5 second plot: Melisandre pays Daenerys a visit. And informs her of the existence of one Jon Snow. Cersei is still trying to find allies. Sam tries to cure Jorah. Tyrion lays out his attack strategy. Not everything goes as planned. A premature battle is fought at sea.
5 second review: This episode has it all: it's cool, sexy, action packed, nasty (stomach turning), filled with visual goodies and it has an awesome blood gushing battle.
IMDb score: 9,2/10

Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 1: Dragonstone
5 second plot: Spoiler alert! Arya kills every last one of the fuckers that helped slaughter her family at the red wedding. Now she's on her way to kill the queen. The zombie army is coming. Jon is organizing the defense of the wall together with Sansa. Bran arrives at the wall. Cersei is trying to figure out what crazy thing to do next. The Dragon Queen is home at last.
5 second review: They are not wasting any time: let's get crackin'! It's turning into a good old fashion fight of good against evil. We don't just get to see zombies in this episode but GIANT zombies! How cool is that? The Hound is hilarious. The Ed Sheeran cameo is NOT. But it's not terrible. Just stupid.

Game of Thrones Season 6 Episode 10: The Winds of Winter (season finale)
5 second plot: Huge spoilers ahead! Cersei blows up half of the city to get rid of her enemies and crowns herself Queen of the Seven Kingdoms. Jon becomes King in the North. The Dragon Queen is on her way with some new allies and a big ass army. Arya starts her small scale (with big results) revenge. Bran, aka the new Three Eyed Raven arrives at his destination. Oh yeah, and winter is coming.
5 second review: The plot description is just a small summary of the gazillion things that unravel in this season finale. This is - again - a great episode. Game of Thrones is simply THE biggest fan pleasing show in the history of television.
IMDb score: 10/10

Game of Thrones Season 6 Episode 9: Battle of the Bastards
5 second plot: Spoilers ahoy! Daenerys unleashes her dragons and takes back Meereen. The Iron Island folks arrive (the good ones). The two queens get along quite well. Jon and his troops prepare for battle. But that sick fuck Ramsay has got something in store for them. Thank god JS can't die. Almost everyone else does.
5 second review: This is one battle-PACKED episode. My god. It's awesomely tense. First we get the three dragons in full combat action. And then Jon and Ramsay go head to head. And to top it off Sansa gets to make a little victory dance. Too bad almost everyone dies. There's no-one left to celebrate with.

Game of Thrones Season 6 Episode 8: No One
5 second plot: Arya gets help from the woman she tried to kill. The Hound unleashes his anger. Varys goes on an expedition, a little bit later the city is under attack (while Tyrion is telling jokes and drinking wine). Cersei's bodyguard comes into action. Jamie wants to go back to Cersei so he plays it smart and cuts the siege short.
5 second review: Spoilers ahead! Lots and lots of cool action this episode. Cersei's bodyguard pulls someone's head off, the Hound axes the shit out of the a-holes that killed his friend and Arya is chased by a very determined nameless girl. Who also loses her head.
IMDb score: 8,5/10

Game of Thrones Season 6 Episode 7: The Broken Man
5 second plot: The Hound is alive. And it looks like he's finally found some peace. Not. The High Sparrow tells the queen to give it to the king (yes, IT). Pronto. The Freefolk will fight at Jon's side. He and Sansa search for more allegiances. Jamie takes command of a castle siege. Theon and his sis are on their way to the dragon queen. But. Important things first: getting laid.
5 second review: This High Sparrow a-hole is going to get it big-time. I'm looking forward to it. Not a lot of action this episode, but good talks, nice strategies and very promising. I think we're going to get ourselves some wins now.

Game of Thrones Season 6 Episode 5: The Door
5 second plot: Sansa and Jon try to find allies to take back the North. Sansa tells Littlefinger to sod off though. Arya gets another chance. Bran pisses off the leader of the white walkers. The Greyjoys select a new leader. Tyrion and Varys try to keep things together. We find out why Hodor is called Hodor.
5 second review: Wow. This feels like an episode of The Walking Dead. But GoT has got fast zombies. Man, do these zombies run. It's a really cool episode. Everything is coming together nicely. The Hodor part is brilliant.

Cersei teams up with the queen's grandmom to kick some High Sparrow butt. Theon makes it home. Daenerys shows the Dothraki that she's fireproof.
5 second review: This is one of those HOLY SHIT episodes. It's like the episodes where we got to see the dragons for the first time. Not just awesome. Mega awesome.

Game of Thrones Season 6 Episode 3: Oathbreaker
5 second plot: Jon came back from the dead as a cry baby. Sam and his girl are on their way home. Bran flashes back to a time before he was born. Daenerys meets her fellow widows. Varys finds out who's behind all the city's problems. Cersei patiently sends out little birds. Arya gets to the next level of her training. Rickon Stark is offered as a gift to house Bolton.
5 second review: This episode is not the action fest we're used to but I guess it's needed from time to time to take a little breather. We still get a lot of interesting developments. I think Jon is going to stay dead in the books. It doesn't feel right. I'm hoping he's got some mad new superskills, but it's doubtful.

Game of Thrones Season 6 Episode 2: Home
5 second plot: Bran gets to go home a little bit. Jon's wild buddies come to the rescue. Tyrion releases the dragons. Arya starts her training (again?). Sansa is on her way to Castle Black. Ramsay makes a bold move. Melisandre tries to resurrect Jon.
5 second review: Big spoiler alert. This episode is brutal. It's brutal fun a couple of times (guys getting squashed like bugs) but it's also stretching the limits of TV brutality (a baby gets eaten by dogs). The dragons are awesome as always. I'm happy JS is back but it does feel a little bit like a cheap move.

5 second plot: Jon Snow is very dead. His buddies try to figure out what to do next. So does Melisandre. Brienne finally gets to save Sansa. The Sand Snakes take over Dorne. Daenerys is taken prisoner by the Dothraki. They try to decide whether to rape her or cut off her head. Arya is blind and gets her ass whooped with a stick.
5 second review: Am I glad that it is still awesome. The story, the visuals, the characters, the action, the back stabbing, the vengeance, the codes of honor,... It's going to be very interesting to find out where everything is going.
IMDb score: 8,8/10

Game of Thrones Season 5 Episode 9: The Dance of Dragons
5 second plot: Stannis' army is not doing well, but there is a solution for all their problems. Jon and friends make it to the wall. Jaime and Bronn are lucky that prince Doran is a nice guy. Arya breaks character. Daenerys officially opens the fighting pit. The Sons of the Harpy strike again. But the mother of dragons strikes back.
5 second review: My god, is this the best show ever or what?! This is, again, an awesome episode. Everything about it is off the charts amazing. (Except for the fact that they burn a small child at the stake while mom and dad watch her screaming. Didn't really enjoy watching that.)
IMDb score: 9,6/10

The Boltons prepare for battle. Ramsay's got a plan. Jon meets the rest of the wildlings. And shit hits the fan really hard in wildlingtown.
5 second review: Just as I was starting to wonder 'where the fuck are them white walkers?'... Well, here they are. It's like a zombie apocalypse. Awesome fights and very cool creatures. And it has only just begun. This is one of those must see episodes.
IMDb score: 9,9/10

Game of Thrones Season 5 Episode 7: The Gift
5 second plot: Jon releases the wildlings and will go with them. Sansa needs help. The maester of Castle Black dies. Stannis will have to make a big sacrifice if he wants his army to make it to the fight. Grandma Tyrell talks with the High Sparrow. The queen and the brother are still in prison. Jaime came to Dawn for nothing. Bronn underestimated his opponents. Littlefinger continues to set up his little plan. Jorah and Tyrion get to the queen. Cersei's plan backfires.
5 second review: Two things I really hate in GoT lately: fucking Ramsay and this goddamn religious cult. At least Ramsay delivers some spectacular images. I loved seeing a wolf again. As the story-line unfolds it becomes more and more complex. It's starting to feel like they're going to take a wrong turn here and there. But all things considered: this is an awesome show.
