The Walking Dead Season 4 Episode 16: A
5 second plot: Rick, Michonne and Carl get attacked by Daryl's new 'buddies'. But as we all know: they are messing with the wrong people. The group, minus the attackers, then arrives at Terminus. They are welcomed with open arms, but something smells fishy. And Rick knows it.
5 second review: Cannibals, I knew it! Well, we don't actually 'know' it yet, but hey, we spotted the bones together with Rick. It makes sense. I think Rick is going to get medieval on their asses. Knowing that he went legendary vicious on the guy that tried to rape Carl. "He's mine."

The Walking Dead Season 4 Episode 13: Alone
5 second plot: Daryl and Beth find a great location: a safe house filled with supplies. But of course, it's too good to be true. It's a trap and Beth gets kidnapped. Sasha, Bob and Maggie are still together. Maggie wants to go to Terminus, a 'sanctuary for all who survived'. But Sasha wants to stay put.
5 second review: It's great to see the survivors cover new ground and discover new things, and new people. But when are these walkers going to give it up and stop... well... walking? And what are we going to find in Terminus? Exciting, isn't it?

The Walking Dead Season 4 Episode 11: Claimed
5 second plot: Glenn and Tara find out that their new friends are on a mission to save the world. Abraham is a soldier and he's protecting Eugene, a scientist that may be able to end the apocalypse. Carl, his dad and Michonne play happy family but then get unfriendly visitors. Tension rises high, but they get out just in time.
5 second review: As always: very good episode. It's great to have them searching for each other (a goal) and at the same time have them meet new people (good and bad). Not to forget that they are on the road to a new home.

The Walking Dead Season 4 Episode 10: Inmates
5 second plot: The old gang is scattered all over the place. Most of them seem to have made it out alive. We even meet up with Tyreese, the two kids, and... the baby. And Glenn even saves one of the attackers. And now everyone is looking for everyone. Some of them find a map to a possible safe place and others run into new friends.
5 second review: There is a lot of story to be told and they are telling it. It's awesome. Also: a lot of kills in this episode. Heads are smashed all over the place. It's amazing to see how the environment the survivors now live in is changing dramatically. Nature simply goes on with its business, like nothing happened. And I just love the way they are finding inspiration in the comics, because here's Abraham!

The Walking Dead Season 4 Episode 9: After
5 second plot: Rick and Carl survived the brutal attack. The prison is lost and they are on the move. Rick is badly injured. They hide in an abandoned house and then Rick goes to sleep and doesn't seem to want to wake up anymore. So Carl is somewhat on his own. Michonne also survived. She chooses some new walker-buddies to take a hike with and is haunted by awful memories.
5 second review: As a big fan of the comics, it's always great to see that they used something from the comics in the TV show. It's an amazing episode again: lot's of action, but also emotions, loneliness, growing pains,... you name it.

The Walking Dead Season 4 Episode 8: Too Far Gone
5 second plot: The Governor wants the prison. He captures Michonne and Hershell and asks Rick 'friendly' to get the fuck out. Then Rick gives a speech that makes the Governor lose it. Big Time. And shit hits the fence harder than ever before.
5 second review: Oh my god. They found a way to kill the baby. On TV. But I don't think they got away with it. What an epic episode. And what a magnificent tension. If you can do that half way in your fourth season, you can do anything. I cannot believe that we have to wait for half a year to see how this goes.

Insidious: Chapter 2 scared the living crap out of me
5 second plot: The second chapter starts right after the first one. No time to waste. You would think the family endured enough, but no no no, there is an evil spirit that found its way into our world. It takes some time before the family realizes something's up and then it's almost too late.
5 second review: If you are into ghost stories, this one will scare the living crap out of you. It's a simple but very effective story with a lot of haunting images. And man, I hate mirrors in these ghost movies. The story does come to an abrupt (fulfilling) end but that's just a pitch for Chapter 3, I guess.

You're Next is slasher-movie heaven
5 second plot: Erin is with her boyfriend at a family get-together (his family). All of a sudden they are under attack by a group of masked men that want them dead. Family members start dropping like flies, but Erin is not taking it and fights back.
5 second review: Now that's what I call a decent slasher-movie. Great suspense, nice twists, cool killings and blood splattering all over the place. That's the way to do it.
IMDb score: 6,6/10
Our score: 9,5/10
